clipped from www.sunstar.com.ph Sunday, July 27, 2008 UN told to set up food stockpile program AGRICULTURE Secretary Arthur Yap has asked the United Nations (UN) to set up either a regional or a global food stockpile program to help avert soaring food prices in the global landscape. The program will also prevent violent incidents especially in impoverished countries affected by the rising prices of basic commodities. Yap said the UN's World Food Program (WFP) should put up a "scheme" that would stabilize the world food supply, saying that the UN agency has the credibility and the track record to manage such program. "WFP should set up a food stockpile. They should be given a shot at managing food stock piles all over the world," he said during last Friday's media forum in Greenhills, San Juan. The agriculture chief said it is about time to put in place global food stockpiles where "we can draw food steadily" especially in time of food crisis.

Hydrogen peroxide should really be called hydrogen dioxide. Its chemical formula is H2O2. It contains one more atom of oxygen that does water (H20). By now everyone's aware of the ozone layer that surrounds the earth. Ozone consists of three atoms of oxygen (03). This protective layer of ozone is created when ultraviolet light from the sun splits an atmospheric oxygen molecule (02) into two single, unstable oxygen atoms. These single molecules combine with others to form ozone (03). Ozone isn't very stable. In fact, it will quickly give up that extra atom of oxygen to falling rainwater to form hydrogen peroxide (H202). (Bear with me: all this chemistry mumbo jumbo I'm going through actually will help you understand the importance of hydrogen peroxide.)

Some will say, "The Name has just been translated into English as LORD, as has similarly been done in other languages."  This is just not true!  Take an Italian name like Guiseppe Verdi  for example. It corresponds to Joseph Green in English; however, proper names of individuals are not translated; they are always transliterated or transcribed in order to retain the sound of its original pronunciation.  If Guiseppe Verdi was visiting an English speaking country, would they call him Joseph Green?  Absolutely not!  Even if Guiseppe decided to become an American citizen, his name would not be translated, it would be transliterated!    You don't translate names, you transliterate them!

Proverbs 30:4  "Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended?  who hath gathered the wind in his fists?  who hath bound the waters in a garment?  who hath established all the ends of the earth?  what [is] his name, and what [is] his son's name, if thou canst tell?" This scripture clearly asks what the names of The Father and The Son are,  "If"  you can tell.  What do you mean if ?!?  Aren't their names readily available in The Scriptures?  I mean it says "God", "LORD" and "Jesus" all over the place in The Scriptures! Why would it ask if we would be able to tell? Because "God" and "LORD" are titles, NOT names!

You cannot pay that penalty without losing eternal life, because if you died for your sins, you could not resurrect yourself.  You would be dead forever. You owe something that you cannot pay! Please ponder these facts for a moment: This is true for every person on the face of this Earth! Our Heavenly Father even left directions for us on how to love Him!
